High Value Shipments - International Export Licence Requirement Check

New customs requirement for International shipments over £865 value

HM Customs MOU - Strategic Export (LIC99) procedures effective January 1 , 2011

Certain High Value export commodities being shipped to certain countries require a UK export licence.

Countries that sre classed as "sensitive" and where permits are required include:

Iran

Iraq

If no export licence is required the Shipper needs to endorse this on the invoice or provide a statement on letterhead confirming the items being exported do not require a licence.

To check if exports require a licence please visit:  http://www.bis.gov.uk/policies/export-control-organisation

We need you to provide paperwork stating "No export licence required" or provide a licence with the goods.

If you need assistance in asertaining whether your despatch requires a licence please liaise with our Customer Services Team whom will be able to assist or myself directly.

Yours Faithfully
