Mission Express partners with Switch2Zero for a greener tomorrow
As of the 24th of August 2023, Mission Express are on a journey to Net Zero!

We are proud to announce that we have partnered with a leading carbon-offsetting company and annually we will be planting a staggering 1,260 trees, effectively offsetting 54 tons of CO2e and removing 252kgs of plastics from our planet's ecosystems!
This is a major partnership for Mission Express and we thank all of our customers for their support and for enabling us to partner with Switch2Zero.

UCI World Cycling Championships
From 3 August to 13 August 2023, the UCI World Cycling Championships are taking place in various locations across Scotland.
The Championships are expected to have a major impact on the road network, and we expect there to be delays.
As always, our teams will do their best to minimise the impact of these road closures but inevitably there will be delays due to the extent and length of the road closures in place, many roads in the above areas are closed for the entire day.
If you have provided your customers' contact details, we will keep them notified of any delays.

Industrial Action in France
Please be aware that nationwide industrial action will take place on Tuesday 31 January in France.
We will do our best to minimize any impact on you and your customers, however, we currently expect delays of up to
24 hours across the French network and onward connections.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will issue any further updates if necessary.

Snow and severe weather continue to impact our UK sortation and delivery operation
Snow and severe weather continue to impact our sortation and delivery operations in the Southeast, Gloucestershire, Aberdeenshire, and Scotland central areas today.
​
Severe weather in several areas has impacted our operation with some trailers arriving late at our hubs and our delivery operation being disrupted by the poor road conditions in the areas listed above.
​
Our teams are working hard to minimise the impact of these delays but inevitably there will be delays of 24 hours for some parcels.
​
If we have your customers' contact details, we will advise them of any delay, and you will be able to view impacted parcels on your MyMission dashboard
​

National Bank Holiday - Monday 19 September
Dear Valued Customer,
As we heard over the weekend, Monday 19 September will be a bank holiday for Queen Elizabeth II State Funeral and mark the last day of national mourning.
Mission Express & Mission Global Group has decided, out of respect for Her Majesty and to commemorate Her incredible reign, that we too will recognise this day as a
Bank Holiday which means our collection and delivery services will not operate throughout Monday 19 September.
This is a historic moment with the entire nation coming together to remember and celebrate the incredible achievements of Queen Elizabeth II
and we want everyone at Mission Express to also be able to pay their respects.

With great sadness, our Queen Elizabeth has passed away.
She will be greatly missed by those at home and around the world.
Our thoughts are with her family and the nation at this difficult time.

Battle of the Boyne Public Holiday in Northern Ireland
​
Tuesday 12th July is a public holiday in Northern Ireland and most of Northern Ireland will also remain closed on Wednesday 13th July.
Standard deliveries and collections will not be taking place.
Northern Ireland material collected on Monday 11th July, will go out for delivery on Thursday 14th July.
Specials can be done by prior arrangement and need to be arranged on Monday please.

Shipments to Spain that require an EORI Number
​

Any shipment going to Spain, that requires an EORI number, must now have a Spanish EORI number only.
Previously, we were able to use an EORI Number from another EU Member State, but this is no longer permitted by Spanish customs!
Please ensure you provide the correct details to avoid lengthy delays and the possibility of shipments being returned by customs.

On 13th March 2022, China’s government announced that; to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19

Shenzhen City will be locked down effective from 14th - 20th March 2022.

Thursday 17th March is St Patrick’s Day, a public holiday in the Irish Republic. All businesses will be closed.
Collection and delivery services will resume Friday 18th March

Ukraine service suspension

Our Air Express and Economy Parcel services to/from Ukraine is suspended until further notice due to the current unprecedented circumstances.
Contingency actions in place with immediate effect are.
Any shipments picked up today will be returned to the sender.
The material currently in transition will be held at our hubs until the upcoming weekend, if the Airspace will not reopen,
that material will also be returned to the respective senders.
